Agarsen College Silver Jubilee Celebration – Agarsen Kala Gyan Utsav

Agarsen College celebrated its Silver Jubilee milestone with the ‘Agarsen Kala Gyan Utsav, a vibrant inter-school cultural and knowledge-based competition held on Thursday, October 9 2025, at 9:30 am in the Saheli Auditorium. The event was graced by notable guests, including Selvi Archana, VJ Chinathirai an actress, as the Inauguration Chief Guest, Dr. J Vijayathilagam, Assistant Commissioner (VRS) Department of Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection, Government of Tamil Nadu, as the Chief Guest for the Valedictory, and Samosa Mooka Nandhakumar, a YouTuber as the Guest of Honour. The college’s dignitaries, including President Shri. Aditya Agarwal, Secretary Shri. Harish Kumar Sanghi, Joint Secretary and Chairman for Silver Jubilee Celebrations Shn. Harish Kumar Lohia. Treasurer Shri. Bal Govind Gupta, and Silver Jubilee Coordinators Shri Sailesh Chhaochharia & Shri. Amit Gupta, were present along with Academic Advisor Dr. Lalitha Balakrishnan, Principal i/c Dr. V Gopi, and Dean of Academics Dr. T S Umamaheswari.

The Agarsen Kala Gyan Utsav featured a range of events, including on stage performances like solo and group singing and dancing, as well as off-stage events. such as “Just a Minute,” “Dumb Charades, Bridal Makeup, Mehandi, Rangoli, and Cooking Without Fire. The competition also included knowledge-based events like “Thamizhodu Vilayaadu” “Number Ninja (Suduko),” “Brain Blitz (Quiz),” “Spell Bee,” “One Minute Master,” “Cerebro Connect (Connection),” “Memory Marathon (Memory Puzzle), “Picture Perfect Challenge,” and “Innovate and Illuminate (Science Expo) The event concluded with exciting cash prizes for the Overall Winner and Runner-up,

recognizing their outstariding talents and achievements. By hosting this event, Agarsen College aimed to connect students from various schools, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and comradeship.
