As part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations, Jayagovind Harigopal Agarwal Agarsen College organized a significant event titled “Joy of Giving”. This initiative, on 10th January 2026 (from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM) aimed to foster a spirit of giving to others and incorporate various charitable activities. The Joy of Giving” program was thoughtfully planned to engage staff members and student community in acts of kindness that support the local community. The event was marked by an inauguration by the Inspector of College, Mr. M. Sridhar. (Ex-Army Officer)

Shri Aditya Agarwal (President), Shri. Harish Kumar Sanghi, (Secretary), Shri. Harish Kumar Lohia (Joint Secretary & Chairman of Silver Jubilee Celebration), Shri. Bal Govind Gupta, (Treasurer), Shri. Amit Gupta and Shri. Sailesh Chhaochharia (Silver Jubilee Coordinators), Other Committee Members of ARET, Principal Dr. V. Gopi and Vice Principal Dr. T.S. Uma Maheshwari graced the occasion with their invaluable presence.

The following faculty members and members of Joy of Giving had been identified as key contributors to the success of the initiative: Dr. K.K. Devi, Dr. S. Kalaiselvi, Mr. Sridhar, Dr. G. Mala, Mr. A. Magesh, Mrs. S. Geetharani, Ms. C.G. Malavika, Ms. S. Manisha and M.C. Gobinath. Their leadership ensured the careful planning and execution of the event activities. Approximately 950 people from Madhavaram and the surrounding localities benefitted from the Joy of Giving event. Through this program, the college community instilled the values of empathy, compassion, and collective social consciousness. The active participation of faculty and students ensured the event’s success and further strengthened the college’s role in shaping socially responsible individuals.
