LG TO LAUNCH INDIA’S FIRST HYBRID LAUNDRY STORE IN CHENNAI, OFFERING ASSISTED AND SELF-SERVICE OPTIONS

LG Electronics is set to introduce India’s first hybrid laundry store in Chennai, combining assisted laundry services with self-service facilities in collaboration with Straits Laundry. The initiative aims to offer customers greater flexibility, convenience and choice through a modern laundry experience powered by LG’s advanced commercial washing machine technology.
The hybrid laundry store will be located at MRTS Station, Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, Velachery, Chennai. The new concept brings together two service options under one roof, allowing customers to choose between a hassle-free assisted laundry service and the convenience of washing their clothes themselves.
The assisted service is designed for customers seeking a convenient, end-to-end laundry experience, while the self-service option gives customers greater control over their laundry routines. By combining these models, LG aims to introduce a more flexible and accessible laundry ecosystem that caters to evolving consumer needs and urban lifestyles.
